Sales and Payment Info
What payment methods do you accept?
Deep Blue Hosting accepts both Credit Card and PayPal payments, however if you require an alternate form of payment, please contact the Sales Department for assistance.
Money orders and E-Gold Payments, or Internet Banking (For Australian customers) will be accepted.
Are there any Setup costs?
No! There are no setup costs involved. The only costs are for monthly services.
Can I organise a custom Plan to suite my needs?
Yes! Feel free to email the Sales Department to organize something tailored to your needs.
Can I upgrade my account?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time you feel you feel it necessary. Simply EMail Sales, providing your cPanel username and the account type you wish to upgrade to.
If I run out of space, can I purchase more?
Yes, for each additional 100MB of disk space we charge a once off fee of $5.
Do you offer custom name servers?
Yes, however we charge $10 per month for customized nameservers. These will take the form of ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com.
How long does it take to set up a new account?
Accounts are usually setup within 24 hours, unless advised.
We endeavor to set them up as quickly as possible, with the average time being 10-15 hours, (Pending Approval of a Non-Fraudulent Signup).
Do you handle domain registration?
Yes we do handle this from as low as $14 per year with discounts to customers already with DeepBlueHosting.
Can you provide webdesign services?

Account Issues
What happens when I exceed my bandwidth quota for a period?
Once you exceed your bandwidth for a period, you will be emailed and given two options. Either you can upgrade your plan to the next highest one, or purchase additional bandwidth in 1GB blocks for $0.70, or 5GB blocks for $3.
What material can I host on Deep Blue Hosting?
You may host anything which is considered legal under the laws of the United States of America. This includes adult sites. If you are unsure which side of the law your content falls under, feel free to contact the Support Desk for more information.
Can I manage my domains and other features of my account?
Yes, Deep Blue Hosting offers the cPanel account management interface, allowing you to configure your domains, subdomains, databases, etc with ease.
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
Yes you can update your pages anytime (24/7).
Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
Yes you can use your account for commercial purposes.
This is also catered for in our control panels. For example, if you run a store you could use the control panels customized shopping cart features under fantastico.
Can I resell space within my own account?
Unfortunately no, this is a privilege for resellers only.

What Is Webhosting?
Web hosting is the process of having your web pages put online on the World Wide Web (WWW). Paid web hosting also involves getting a domain name or getting a sub domain of the webhost (Eg. Chosenname.hostingcompany.com) and not having forced ads displayed on your site.
What specs do the Deep Blue Hosting servers have?
All servers are at minimum Pentium 4 2.4GHz machines with 512MB RAM.
